Fitness Challenge 5K This Saturday!

Hey ladies! I hope you're gearing up for our Fitness Challenge Celebration 5K! It's this Saturday at 8:00 am.

Here are the details:

When:
Saturday, May 21 8:00 am*
*The walk starts at 8:00. Please get there a little early to allow time for parking.

Where:
Rios Avenue Trail, San Elijo Lagoon -- Solana Beach

Directions:
From Lomas Santa Fe, head north on Rios Avenue. Drive till the road ends (about 3/4 of a mile) and park anywhere you can on the street. The trail head is right at the end of Rios, and we'll have a table set up there.

You can walk or run it, and we'll have water and refreshments at the finish line.

We will have copies of both there on Saturday.

There will be no signs marking the trail, so make sure you pick up a map from the table before you head out! There won't be any markers to show you where to turn around, but there is a place where the trail opens up to a wide sandy patch. That's the turn around spot.

Here's what you should look for...



Also, there is one especially tricky fork because the trail you want is small and narrow. When you come to this spot (see photo below), take the narrow trail on the left.
