Christine's Sugar cookies (makes 4 doz.)

Mix:

3/4 c. shortening
3/4 c. butter softened
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Blend in:

5 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Cover and chill about an hour

Roll out

Bake at 400 degrees for 6-8 min.

After cooled  -   frost
